Sure, I’ve got a little more curve to my silhouette than I did three years ago, but let’s take a moment to honor the journey my body has been on. In that time, it’s been through a second pregnancy, a C-section, and, oh yeah, three more trips around the sun. Recovery from pregnancies and major surgeries is hard and it takes more time and effort to “bounce back” the older we get, but here’s the thing—I’m stronger. 💪
Let’s get real: muscle takes up space, just like fat does. So yeah, when I glance at those 2024 progress photos, my first thought is, “Dang, I look HUGE.” But then I catch sight of these arms in the latest pic and think, “Oh, but LOOK at those guns!” 🏋️♀️
I’m ridiculously proud of this body and all it’s done for me. It’s carried me through the tough days, adapted to all the challenges, and keeps showing up for me, time and time again.
